For some cancers, the median cholesterogenic gene expression correlated positively with KRAS expression (cervical squamous cell carcinoma [CESC], glioblastoma multiforme [GBM], kidney renal clear cell carcinoma [KIRC], brain lower grade glioma [LGG], lung squamous cell carcinoma [LUSC], ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma [OV], pancreatic adenocarcinoma [PAAD], pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma [PCPG], prostate adenocarcinoma [PRAD] and stomach adenocarcinoma [STAD]) or MYC expression (PCPG, STAD and LUSC) (BH-corrected p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
