Our data reveal the two ways of cytoplasm translocation of TFEB induced by PARP activation in PD models: (a) PARP1‐SIRT1‐mTOR pathway inhibits nuclear translocation of TFEB through phosphorylation and (b) over‐activation of PARP1 promotes TFEB PARylation, resulting in CRM1‐dependent nuclear export. This evidence concerns the gene XPO1 and Parkinson disease.
