IDH1 and glioblastoma: According to the 2016 WHO classification for gliomas [22], 8 gliomas (16%) had been initially classified as IDH-mutant astrocytomas (including 2 with anaplastic component), 6 (12%) as IDH-wildtype astrocytomas (including 2 with anaplastic component), 12 (24%) as IDH-mutant and 1p/19q co-deleted oligodendrogliomas (including 4 with anaplastic component), 22 (43%) as IDH-wildtype glioblastomas (GBM), and 3 (6%) as IDH-mutant GBM.
