Moreover, Vero/TMPRSS2 and Vero/MSPL cells (without trypsin) or Vero cells (with or without 3 μg/mL trypsin) were incubated with treated clinical intestine tissue samples containing PEDV 2013-A and NJ followed by detection by RT-PCR, and the results showed that MSPL and TMPRSS2 could effectively facilitate 2013-A (c) and NJ replication (d) at 72 h post-infection compared to the trypsin treatment group, and the effect of MSPL was the most significant.
