In recent years, some scholars have begun to study the expression of miR-29a in glioma (12), and some studies have explored the mechanism of the role of microRNAs in glioma, such as microRNAs-92b (13) and microRNAs-130b (14) regulate the proliferation, migration, invasion and apoptosis of glioma cells through PTEN/Akt signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene PTEN and central nervous system cancer.
