Compared with those of healthy participants, the frequencies of CD4+CD25+CD127low/− Tregs in the BM of AML patients were significantly increased (3.60% [range: 2.00 to 5.20%] vs 1.50% [range: 1.10 to 2.13%], P = 0.0062), as were CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ Tregs (2.70% [range: 0.90 to 3.70%] vs 1.00% [range: 0.68 to 1.65%], P = 0.0239) (Fig. 2a-b). This evidence concerns the gene FOXP3 and acute myeloid leukemia.
