Somatic heterozygous mutations in DICER1 are present in 29% of non-epithelial ovarian cancers, including Sertoli-Leydig cell tumors (60%, the majority harboring a E1705K or D1709N hotspot mutation), juvenile GCTs (7%), yolk sac tumors (13%) and mature teratomas (12%) [36]. This evidence concerns the gene DICER1 and Sertoli-Leydig cell tumor.
