We found that AIM suppressed NF-κB activation induced by TNF-α in MCF-7 cells, and the upregulation of NF-κB-regulated genes (COX-2; MMP-2, MMP-9, and VEGF) involved in cancer cell proliferation (COX-2, C-myc, Cyclin-D1), and invasion, adhesion, and angiogenesis (MMP-2, MMP-9, ICAM-1, VEGF).
