Serum creatinine levels in insulin-treated, vitamin D-treated, and combined insulin and vitamin D-treated groups were significantly lower than that in DN group (1.57 ± 0.078, 1.96 ± 0.08, 1.205 ± 0.12 mg/dl, respectively; P < 0.05) and still significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05). The gene discussed is INS; the disease is liver dysplastic nodule.
