Serum insulin levels in insulin-treated, vitamin D-treated, and combined insulin and vitamin D-treated groups were significantly higher than that in DN group (2.20 ± 0.05, 1.84 ± 0.14, 2.74 ± 0.13 μIU/L, respectively; P < 0.05) but significantly lower than that in control group (P < 0.05). The gene discussed is INS; the disease is liver dysplastic nodule.
