CD4 and esophageal adenocarcinoma: With regard to the histologic type, naïve B cell, resting T cell CD4 memory, regulatory T cells (Tregs), and neutrophils had higher percentages in adenocarcinoma of the esophagus, while T cell follicular helper, activated NK cells, monocytes, macrophage M1, resting dendritic cells, and activated dendritic cells rose in proportion in squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus (ESCC) (Figure 2(e)).
