Moreover, we evaluated Gas6 and sAxl diagnostic accuracy in the identification of ILD; a Gas6 threshold ≤ 24.5 ng/ml has a 100% sensitivity, 47% specificity, 46% PPV, and 100% NPV; sAxl < 15.5 ng/ml is 67% sensitive and 86% specific in identifying severe ILD in our population (Figures 1(b) and 1(c)) with 67% and 85% PPV and NPV, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene GAS6 and interstitial lung disease.
