KLK3 and prostate carcinoma: In this study, selected serum parameters were therefore tested as indicators for the occurrence of [18F]FDG/[68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11 mismatch findings on PET/CT in this study, including the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) as the routine control and response parameter [21], alkaline phosphatase (ALP) as known to be elevated by bone metastases [22], gamma-glutamyltransferase (GGT) as a parameter of liver function affected by liver metastases [23], and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) as a possible parameter for transdifferentiating to a neuroendocrine type of prostate carcinoma [24].
