In a recent study, RAS association domain family protein 1A (RASSF1A) methylation was largely detected in the cfDNA of patients with HCC (52.04%), but not as much in patients with liver cirrhosis or chronic hepatitis B or in healthy controls (13.33%, 4.44%, and 3.75%, respectively). Here, RASSF1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
