Reduced expressions of SELENBP1 with poor prognosis were shown in various carcinomas, including colorectal carcinoma [6,7], ovarian cancer [8], breast cancer [9,10], gastric carcinoma [11], lung adenocarcinoma [12,13,14], prostate cancer [15], thyroid carcinoma [16], bronchial epithelial cancer [17], esophageal adenocarcinoma [18], malignant melanoma [19], and hepatocellular carcinoma [20,21,22]. Here, SELENBP1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
