In summary, these results suggest IGFBP-3 as a prognostic biomarker in glioma, mesothelioma, kidney, and colorectal cancers with lower expression suggestive of better survival outcome, whereas diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, cholangiocarcinoma, bladder urothelial carcinoma, uterine carcinosarcoma, breast, and prostate cancer with higher expression suggestive of better survival outcome. This evidence concerns the gene IGFBP3 and cholangiocarcinoma.
