BRCA2 and hereditary cancer: Manchester, BRCAPRO, and BOADICEA were developed from 1121, 2713, and 2785 probands or families, respectively, of which ~20% had pathogenic mutations in either BRCA1 or BRCA2. The Myriad prevalence tables contain information from 10,000 consecutive cases through its clinical testing service; however, the data has not been updated since 2010, and thus may no longer be representative of the population referred for hereditary cancer testing today.
