CD8A and tuberculosis: Nevertheless, despite similar baseline CD4/CD8 ratio in the patients who developed TB compared to those who remained free from TB (0.14; IQR: 0.09–0.21 vs. 0.13; IQR: 0.08–0.22, respectively; p = 0.612), the median CD4/CD8 ratio at the time of TB diagnosis was significantly lower than the time-updated ratio of those who remained free from TB (0.17; IQR: 0.11–0.37 vs. 0.52; IQR: 0.31–0.78, respectively; p<0.0001).
