The incidence rate of TB in patients with an updated CD4/CD8 ratio of more than 0.45 was 0.47 per 100 person-year follow-up (95% CI: 0.25–0.87) and those with ratio between 0.30 and 0.45 was 0.85 per 100 person-year follow-up (95% CI: 0.35–2.05). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and tuberculosis.
