Regarding the subscales, PANSS-positive and general scores were significantly and positively correlated with CSF HGF {r = 0.34, p = 0.001 (significant even after correction) and r = 0.31, p = 0.003 (significant even after correction)} and S100B (r = 0.21, p = 0.044 and r = 0.30, p = 0.005) levels {Fig. 2 (schizophrenia)}. Here, HGF is linked to schizophrenia.
