The disease-risk allele frequencies of IL23R-C1orf141 are lower in Caucasians (2.5% in Caucasians from 1000 Genomes Project Phase 3 [45]) that have a low prevalence of VKH disease than in Asians, and those of ADO-ZNF365-EGR2 in Caucasians (52.0% [45]) are higher in Asians. This evidence concerns the gene ADO and Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease.
