The TAL1 gene is more commonly known as SCL/TAL1 (stem cell leukaemia/T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia) and it is an essential TF in normal and malignant hematopoiesis, (i.e. the production of blood cells) (Porcher, Chagraoui, & Kristiansen, 2017). This evidence concerns the gene TAL1 and acute leukemia.
