Through transcriptome sequencing analysis of glioma surgical specimens, this study found that genes that promote tumor angiogenesis, such as VEGF, PDGF, FGF, and HIF1α, were not differentially expressed between the two tumor specimen groups, but the BMPER, CXCL10, and HOXA9 expression levels in the surgical specimens that could form orthotopic xenografts were significantly higher than those in the specimens that could not form orthotopic xenografts. The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
