Confirming the role of Fbln7 in cancers, de Vega et al. recently showed that Fbln7 is over-expressed by the glioblastoma tissue among astrocytic tumors, where it was primarily localized in the endothelial cells and pericytes of the glomeruloid and hypertrophied microvessels (de Vega et al. 2019).
