Knockdown of MYC gene expression by siRNA reduced the viability of HS-SY-II, SYO-1, and Yamato cells, but Aska cells were insensitive to silencing of MYC (Figure 6D) and NCB-0846 (Figure 3A), suggesting that NCB-0846 induces apoptotic cell death of synovial sarcoma at least partially through transcriptional suppression of MYC.
