CRP and bacterial infectious disease with sepsis: The main findings of this study were as follows: (1) the bacteremia rate in febrile children that presented to the PED was low, (2) CRP was significantly higher and hemoglobin was significantly lower in children with bacteremia, (3) younger children (<3 years of age) with fever are more likely to have bacteremia than older children, and (4) machine learning can help us classify the risk of bacteremia in febrile children.
