Similarly, high WDHD1 expression was found to be negatively correlated with non–small cell lung cancer and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, and the knockout of WDHD1 could effectively inhibit the growth of both lung and esophageal cancer cells (15); however, no studies have reported the association between WDHD1 and cisplatin sensitivity in LUAD. Here, WDHD1 is linked to lung cancer.
