To clarify the mechanism underlying the antiapoptotic activity of LOXL1 in glioma cells, we suspended U87-LOXL1 cells, cultured them for 48 h, collected cells for immunoprecipitation (IP) with a LOXL1-specific antibody, separated the samples with SDS-PAGE and then analyzed by liquid chromatograph-mass spectrometer (LC-MS) (Fig. 3a and Supplementary Fig. 3a).
