Hepatic steatosis was similarly allied with an obvious rise in the inflammatory indices evidenced by hepatic NF-κB and IL-6 by about 4.2 folds (253.2 ± 17.1 pg/ml vs. 59.6 ± 1.6 pg/ml) and 2.3 folds (784.6 ± 12.23 pg/ml vs. 329.6 ± 7.2 pg/ml), respectively. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and fatty liver disease.
