The 2018 update of the World Health Organization–European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (WHO-EORTC) classification for cutaneous lymphomas describes new provisional entities—namely chronic active Epstein–Barr virus infection, CD8+ aggressive epidermotropic CTCL, primary cutaneous CD4+ small/medium T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, and primary acral CD8+ T-cell lymphoma—which are now included3. Here, CD4 is linked to primary cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
