However, extended analyses in subsets of cancers defined identical classical and quantitative Gleason scores further revealed that hnRNPA1 provided additional prognostic information in Gleason 4 + 3 cancers (p = 0.0004, Fig. 4a) but not in cancers with an identical quantitative Gleason score (Fig. 4b–h).
