COX6B2 and cancer: Although all three COX6B2 KD PDAC cancer cell lines were found to exhibit altered mitochondrial signals, including increased levels of ROS and AMP (Fig. S9A–D), as well as mitochondrial calcium overload (Fig. S9E), unexpectedly, elimination of ROS and inhibition of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathways did not increase but rather decreased the metastatic potential of PDAC cells (Fig. S9F, G).
