Specific to breast cancer, the enrichment of the “breast cancer regulation by Stathmin1” (P = 10−3.92) pathway is interesting since the overexpression of Stathmin1 correlates with loss of the ER (Curmi et al., 2000) and with aggressive breast tumor phenotypes (Obayashi et al., 2017). The gene discussed is ESR1; the disease is breast neoplasm.
