Significantly lower ratio of LC3II/LC3I and AMPK levels, and higher mTOR level were found in the ear tissue of wild type AD mice compared with IL-37b Tg AD mice (Figures 6F,G), demonstrating that IL-37 could enhance the autophagy of the local inflammatory tissue cells through AMPK-mTOR-dependent signaling pathway in AD, which was further confirmed by immunofluorescence analysis of AMPK, mTOR, IL-37b and LC3 (Figure 6H). This evidence concerns the gene IL37 and Alzheimer disease.
