Due to the contradictory findings regarding the role of adenosine receptors and the beneficial role of chronic caffeine on insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism, herein, we explored the effect of 15 days administration of DPCPX, SCH58261, and MRS1754, an A1, A2A, and A2B adenosine receptor antagonists, in a rodent model of insulin resistance. The gene discussed is INS; the disease is Insulin resistance.
