GATA1s is the short form of GATA1 lacking exon2 [213], which supports unrestricted proliferation due to losing the interaction with transcription factor E2F1 (E2F1) [214] and plays a major role in transient myeloproliferative syndrome of children with trisomy 21 [215,216,217,218]. This evidence concerns the gene E2F1 and transient myeloproliferative syndrome.
