IGF2BP1 binds to mRNAs of aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 member A1 (ALDH1A1), Homeobox B4 (HOXB4) and MYB proto-oncogene (MYB) and leads to higher expression of those targets [52], which are already described as dysregulated in AML [53,54,55].
