The chromatin modifier KDM6A, which has been implicated in the progression of squamous PDAC (Andricovich et al., 2018), is a common mutation shared by GSK3b inhibitor-sensitive PDCLs, and in keeping with reported findings, we observe squamous-like pancreatic cancer in these PDCLs despite the presence of GATA6. Here, GSK3B is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
