Associated with that Akt is involved in multiple biological functions, such as lipid and glucose metabolisms, inflammation, development, cardiovascular disease and cancer,41 identification of lncRNA‐ANRIL as a regulator of Akt not only helps us to understand the molecular mechanism of Akt regulation, but also explores the novel role of lncRNA‐ANRIL in other aspects related to Akt. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2B-AS1 and cancer.
