PCA3 is a long, non-coding prostate-specific RNA, which is highly expressed in prostate neoplasms, but not in benign prostate diseases, such as BPH, prostatitis, and prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) (Deras et al., 2008[11]).
