In CKD cats, a decrease or disappearance of uromodulin and cauxin was accompanied by an increase appearance of albumin, transferrin and LMM proteins as immunoglobulin light (26 kDa) and heavy chains (54 kDa) and haptoglobin (36 kDa); in most samples the presence of the RBP (20 kDa) was recorded. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and chronic kidney disease.
