We observed higher induction of IFN-α1 after infection with the attenuated NH/P68 compared to the virulent 22653/14, with statistical significance in moMΦ + IFN-α, and these findings are in accordance with Gil et al. (2008), where researches observed higher induction of IFN-α1 in macrophages after infection with NH/P68 compared to virulent L60 [6]. Here, IFNA2 is linked to infection.
