PLOD1 and Cushing syndrome due to macronodular adrenal hyperplasia: Pregnancy-induced Cushing’s syndrome (CS) is rare, with a total of 15 cases reported in the world literature to our knowledge [1–15], and only two of those patients were secondary to an adrenal adenoma overexpressing luteinizing hormone (LH)/human choriogonadotropin (hCG) receptors (LHCGR) [12, 14].
