Interestingly, the dormancy inducer DEC2, which was found equally upregulated in BT474‐Var1 and BT474‐Var4, activates antiapoptotic signaling in breast cancer cells, and its expression appears to be regulated by TNFα/NFκB (Li et al, 2003; Olkkonen et al, 2015). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and breast carcinoma.
