Dyslipidaemia was noted in many cases, with elevated fasting triglycerides of between 332 and 927 mg/dL (3.75–10.5 mmol/L) (normal range < 150 mg/dL or < 1.7 mmol/L) but seemingly normal leptin levels of 3.5–7.4 ng/mL (normal range for females 8.8 + SEM 2.10 ng/mL [36]). Here, LEP is linked to inherited lipid metabolism disorder.
