In current study, we used newly developed monoclonal antibody that has previously been validated as specific for GLP-1R [24] and demonstrated that the protein levels of GLP-1Rs in the pelvis are greater in HF than Sham, suggesting that enhanced expression of GLP-1R in the pelvis leads to enhanced activation of afferent renal nerves in rats with HF. Here, GLP1R is linked to hydrops fetalis.
