A transactivation ER assay using a human breast cancer cell line (MVLN) showed the estrogenic activities of terbuthylazine, propiconazole, prothioconazole, cypermethrin and malathion while also demonstrating that bitertanol, propiconazole and mancozeb have anti-androgenic activity and terbuthylazine, propiconazole and prothioconazole can act as aromatase activity inducers [9,10]. This evidence concerns the gene ESR1 and breast cancer.
