Univariate analysis showed that risk factors for severe illness were obesity (BMI ≥ 28 kg/m2), presence of type 2 diabetes, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) > 250 U/L, CRP > 10 mg/L, and ALB < 35 g/L. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
