Considering that ROS plays a critical role in the regulation of tumor growth and metastasis by activating several key oncogenic signaling pathways, such as AKT, NFκB, and Hif-1α16, we hypothesized that increased ROS level and activities of its downstream oncogenic signaling pathways may be involved in CRIF1-promoted HCC growth and metastasis. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and neoplasm.
