As the transcription factor NFκB2 is a critical regulator of inflammation and immune function22 and toll-like-receptor 2 (TLR2) is one of the pattern recognition receptors important for the pathogenesis of many autoimmune diseases and highly expressed in GvHD patients23, we also wanted to study the functional effects of these mutations. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB2 and graft versus host disease.
