As shown in Fig. 5F–H, glucose supplementation not only restored c-MYC expression, but also rescued bladder cancer cells from Vitamin K2-triggered AMPK-dependent autophagic cell death, suggesting that metabolic stress induced by Vitamin K2 indeed triggers AMPK-dependent autophagic cell death in bladder cancer cells, under glucose limited condition. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and urinary bladder cancer.
