By contrast, APOBEC3A and APOBEC3G are both present in CLL and normal B cells, and there is also evidence for APOBEC3-mediated C to T conversions in genomic DNA from CLL cells, showing that APOBECs likely contribute to off-target DNA mutations in CLL [40,45,46]. This evidence concerns the gene APOBEC3G and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
