Univariate analysis revealed that dyspnea (p = 0.003), SOFA score (p = 0.0004), SOFA score >8 (p = 0.001), septic shock (p = 0.022), thrombocytopenia (p = 0.0004), prolonged prothrombin time (p = 0.018), and lack of microbiological eradication ability (p = 0.004) were considerably associated with mortality by 30 days after EOT.
